Additional monitoring at the Tollesbury site - FD1101

Description
Summary Objectives:-
To monitor changes in estuary bathymetry, sediment dynamics, soil character, and colonisation by invertebrate infauna and halophytes during the early development of a managed set-back site in Tollesbury, Essex. To investigate the impact of invertebrates on saltmarsh development.

Key Customer Purpose:-
Improve understanding of the impacts and development of managed set-back schemes in order to provide guidance to the operating authorities.
