Beneficial Recharge Experiment - FD0605

Description
Summary Objective:
Investigate saltmarsh recharge using a trickle charging technique that makes use of material available from typical maintenance dredging operations.

Key Customer Purpose:
Assess the usefulness, and cost-effectiveness, of trickle charging as a beneficial disposal of dredged material in order to reintroduce sediments into areas of saltmarsh that are receding whilst avoiding damage to existing flora, fauna and adjacent saltmarshes and mudflats.
