Investigation of rapid diagnostic and monitoring methods for the parasitic mite Varroa jacobsoni in honey bee colonies. - HH0805SHB

Objective
i) To develop a rapid, sensitive and reliable diagnostic test for the varroa mite that is easily used by beekeepers.
ii) To develop a reliable and accurate method of assessing V. jabobsoni populations in infested colonies throughout the British beekeeping season.
